The term 'dessert tea' is commonly applied to sweet, blended teas and tisanes, such as the Cinnamon Plum Rooibos by Rishi Tea pictured above. These blends often contain toothsome ingredients like vanilla, mint, cinnamon and dried fruits, and are generally made to appeal to so-called 'kitchen tea drinkers' (those who enjoy tea as a tasty beverage rather than a deep-rooted cultural institution). You can learn more about these blends with my definition of dessert tea. Happy Hot Tea Month!
