Wonderful White Chocolate

Don't forget about chocolate's pale cousin.

Most people have a love/hate relationship with white chocolate, either they love it or they hate it.

So what makes white chocolate different from the rich, brown version we all know and love? It's all in the cocoa, or lack of it. White chocolate is made with milk, sugar and cocoa butter, but there are no actual cocoa solids (also called cocoa liquor or chocolate liquor). So technically, white chocolate is not really chocolate at all.

White Chocolate Coffee - Part coffee and part hot chocolate, made with real chopped chocolate.

White Chocolate Cappuccino - Not a true cappuccino, but an alcoholic drink with espresso and white chocolate.

White Peppermint Hot Chocolate - The bright taste of mint is a nice compliment to the mellow chocolate.

White Chocolate Ginger Biscotti - A once-baked biscotti with the spicy flavour of cloves and ginger, and coated with melted white chocolate.

White Chocolate Mousse - Light in texture but rich in flavour.
