Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tbs dried rosemary
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation:
In a large bowl, sift together flour, cheese, rosemary, baking powder, salt and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs together with the water. Add to the dry mixture, and stir. On a floured board, knead dough until smooth. Divide into thirds, and roll each portion into a log about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Place on a baking sheet and flatten slightly. Bake at 350F for about half an hour. Remove from oven and slice logs diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place back in the oven for another 20-30 minutes.Makes approximately 25 biscotti
