The first time I stopped by the Steven Smith Teamaker experimental kitchen to interview Steven Smith, he was testing out avocado iced tea recipes. Over a year later, he shared one of his avocado iced tea concoctions for publication on About Coffee / Tea.
Smith says, "It’s really fresh, really healthy and a completely different kind of iced tea." Given that it contains not only fresh avocado, but also Serrano chili pepper, grated ginger root and grapefruit juice, I'd have to agree that this is NOT your usual iced tea.
