Green Tea Lemonade Recipe

This green tea Arnold Palmer recipe from Teas, Etc. combines lemonade concentrate with fresh-brewed green tea for a refreshing flavor and a higher level of nutrients than plain lemonade. It's a scalable recipe that works well for serving large groups at summertime events like picnics, potlucks and cookouts.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Total Time: 1 hour, 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Frozen lemonade concentrate
  • Simmering water (1/2 the amount called for on the lemonade package)
  • 1 tsp. Guo Lu First Grade Organic Green Tea for each cup of simmering water
  • Cold water (1/2 the amount called for on the lemonade package)
  • Ice

Preparation:

  1. Pour the simmering water over the green tea. Steep for 3 minutes.
  2. Strain the tea after steeping, and then chill it for an hour or more.
  3. Using the cold water, prepare the lemonade.
  4. Mix the lemonade and the brewed tea together.
  5. Serve over ice.
