This fruity green tea smoothie
recipe by Elin Headrick of Teafolio
was the unanimous winner of the July 2010 Monthly Tea Recipe Contest
. Judge Chris Cason of Tavalon
said, "The texture was perfect and the tea
didn’t get too lost in the mix... I could actually see myself making this every morning!" Guest judge Gail Baral of Algabar added, "I love this preparation. It's so simple, I wish I had thought of it! What I really appreciate is that I can brew a large pot of tea and freeze enough ice cubes for several smoothies" or for juice.
