This fruity green tea smoothie recipe by Elin Headrick of Teafolio was the unanimous winner of the July 2010 Monthly Tea Recipe Contest. Judge Chris Cason of Tavalon said, "The texture was perfect and the tea didn’t get too lost in the mix... I could actually see myself making this every morning!" Guest judge Gail Baral of Algabar added, "I love this preparation. It's so simple, I wish I had thought of it! What I really appreciate is that I can brew a large pot of tea and freeze enough ice cubes for several smoothies" or for juice.
