Guide Review - Senseo Coffee Maker
The Senseo has a sleek and modern look, and it's just as innovative on the inside. By using light pressure, the brewing process is faster than with regular drip machines. You can have a freshly-brewed cup of coffee in under 2 minutes. My old drip machine seems like a slow beast by comparison. It's simple to use too. Flip open the top of the machine, slip in a pod and close. The water tank holds enough water to make several cups before refilling. You can brew 1 or 2 cups at a time. You will need to keep a supply of pods though, as the Senseo will only operate with them. You can't use regular, loose ground coffee.
The brewing process produces a nice foamy layer on top the coffee, which is an almost luxurious touch. Oh, and speaking of the coffee, it's excellent. There are new models of the Senseo available now, including the Supreme (which I have also reviewed)
