Here are some coffee and tea recipes for making ice cream, some may require an ice cream maker. Making your own ice cream is actually pretty easy so don't get intimidated.

1. Coffee Ice Cream

A basic coffee ice cream recipe to start with, that requires an ice cream maker. It's a rich and smooth treat, on account of all the cream.

2. Green Tea Ice Cream

The light taste of green tea offsets the richness of the eggs and heavy cream. You could try this recipe with black tea for a bolder taste. No machine required.

3. Another Coffee Ice Cream

Another simple recipe for making your own coffee-flavored ice cream, this time without the need for an ice cream maker. Takes a bit more work, but the results are worth it.

4. Espresso Sorbet

This light and frosty dessert is the perfect ending to a summer meal. It will take a few hours, so plan to make this espresso sorbet ahead of time so you can enjoy it later. It's not strictly an ice cream, but pretty close.

5. Chai Ice Cream
