Definition: Shan Lin Xi (a.k.a. Shanlinxi) is a high-elevation tea-producing region in central Taiwan, to the south of Dong Ding and the north of Ali Shan. It is part of Nantou County and is famous for its ethereal, floral, perfumey oolong teas known simply as Shan Lin Xi Oolongs.
