If you're looking for something a little different in a chilled tea cocktail, this vodka and black tea drink should fit the bill. You'll need to plan ahead by a day, to let the leaves steep fully.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups vodka (Russian is best)
- 6 tsp loose black tea (fruit flavored is traditional)
- Glass bottles or jars with lids
Preparation:
Mix vodka and tea leaves in a jar, and shake a couple of times to combine. Place in a cool, dark place to sit for 24 hours. Strain out the tea leaves by pouring through a strainer into a second jar. Store in the freezer, and serve ice cold.
