Carpe Diem Quince Kombucha is probably healthy, but it is good enough that people would probably still drink it even if it were unhealthy. Its flavor is based around the sweetness of quince (a relative of apples and pears) rather than the tartness of kombucha and berries or hibiscus. It has a complex flavor foodies will love, but is still sweet and mellow enough to appeal to your average person. In short, Carpe Diem Quince Kombucha is not your average kombucha.
Appearance
Carpe Diem Quince Kombucha has a pale green-champagne color that looks fantastic in a champagne flute. It's lightly carbonated with moderate foam.
Aroma & Flavor
The aroma of Carpe Diem's Quince Kombucha is complex and engaging. It's sweet, tart, fruity and offset by a distinct vanilla note.
Its flavor is unexpectedly "warm" from the vanilla note. Tastes of acerola berry, apple, pear and quince balance out into a somewhat novel flavor profile that fans of stewed fruits and baked fruit pastries will love.
The mellow aftertaste has pleasing notes of vanilla and lemon juice.

Overall Opinion
Although Carpe Diem's Classic Kombucha will win more people over, their Quince flavor is also an exceptional kombucha. It's mellow, fruity flavor is great for spring or fall. Also, it's a pasteurized kombucha, which means its alcohol level is below 0.5 percent (much like regular apple juice).
