Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 6 oz chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups coconut flakes
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350F. Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan. Add an even layer of wafer crumbs. Then a layer of nuts, then chocolate chips, then coconut flakes. In a mixing bowl, blend evaporated milk with brown sugar. Pour over the layered mixture, evenly. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool for an hour before cutting into squares.Makes 24 squares
