Guide Review - Brugo Travel Mug
Rather than waiting for the entire mug to cool for your first sip (which then means the remaining coffee will be downright cold before you finish), why not cool only the sip you are about to take? That's the premise of the Brugo.
When your mug is filled with hot coffee, you simply tilt the cup away from you and a small amount of coffee will flow into an upper chamber. After a quick swirl, that sip of coffee will cool quickly, leaving the rest of your coffee snug and hot in the main mug. It's really not that complicated. You just need to get used to the extra motion as you are drinking.
I drank several cups of hot tea, comparing the temperature as I drank some from a regular mug and some from the Brugo. This mug definitely helped cool my tea as I drank without having to leave the whole mug to cool first. I think the idea here is excellent and it really does work as it claims. And once your coffee or tea has cooled down, you can adjust the spout to bypass the upper chamber altogether.
