An image of Steven Smith Teamaker Jasmine Silver Tip #96 in the packaging.

Like all of the Steven Smith Teamaker teas, Jasmine Silver Tip comes in distinctive, attractive, clear, gender-neutral packaging

Steven Smith Teamaker's Jasmine Silver Tip (Varietal #96) green tea is one of the weaker teas from the collection, but it's still very good for a jasmine green tea from a teabag.

The Basics

Jasmine Silver Tip was harvested and steam-fired in Fujian, China. Later, it was scented with fresh jasmine flowers. It is a relatively whole-leaf tea in a pyramid teabag.

Tasting Notes

Aroma -- Floral and sweet with a hint of banana peel and a touch of nutty Chinese green tea
Flavor -- Banana leaf and peel, somewhat astringent
Overall flavor profile -- Very good for a jasmine tea from a teabag, but merely good for a loose-leaf jasmine green tea
