Another mock cream recipe, with whipping cream and cream cheese. If you can't get ahold of true Devonshire clotted cream, this will still be a nice addition to your table.
- 3 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 cup whipping cream
Combine cream cheese, sugar and salt, and blend well. Stir in the whipping cream and beat until mixture is stiff. Store in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
