Iced Orange-Pineapple Yerba Mate is a refreshing, cold drink for picnics and other summertime events.

Iced Orange-Pineapple Yerba Mate is an iced "tea" punch with a topical, bittersweet flavor. It's perfect for picnics and other summertime gatherings, or for a refreshing drink to grab from the fridge anytime. This recipe makes 16 cups, which can be used to serve a group or can be kept for up to two weeks.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Steep time: 8 hours

Total Time: 8 hours, 15 minutes

Yield: 16 cups

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups cold-brewed yerba mate
  • 4 cups orange juice
  • 4 cups pineapple juice
  • Lemon juice and honey to taste (optional)
  • Ice

Preparation:

Combine all liquid ingredients and stir well. Add ice before serving.

Each batch can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
