Your Frozen Tea Treat Recipe
Tea and Vodka Milkshake
The day prior, make ice cubes from your favorite black tea. Brew the tea a little stronger that you normally would.
Combine:
5 black tea ice cubes
1 cup vanilla bean ice cream
1 shot of black tea infused vodka (recipe on about.com)
Blend together in blender and enjoy!
Add a splash of Bailey's if you'd like.
Your Inspiration
I love the combination of black tea and vodka. I thought adding a little ice cream would make the perfect summer treat. The black tea infused vodka is a treat in itself, and I thought I could take it a step farther.
Advice
- I like to use an Assam or Keemun black tea for this recipe. You can find the black tea infused vodka recipe on about.com. I have used Keemun black tea and Absolut vodka for a delicious combination.
