Guide Review - Zarafina Tea Maker Suite
Finally, a tea maker that can brew any sort of tea with the same ease and convenience of a basic coffee maker. The Zarafina is the first tea brewer of its kind, and it does the job exceptionally well. It really does work just like a coffee maker. Add fresh water in one chamber, your tea leaves in another, and turn the machine on. No more timing, watching or messy straining. It's great.
The secret is in the tea infusion chamber. You add your tea leaves into the inner chamber, and set it in the water inside the larger cannister. The infusion chamber actually floats on top of the water, keeping your tea leaves dry until the water heats to the right temperature, at which point the chamber sinks down and soaks the tea leaves.
Once the right amount of time has passed, the freshly brewed tea is dispensed into the ceramic teapot that comes with the suite. There is a hole in the lid for that purpose. The tea won't dispense unless the pot is ready and waiting.
You can select temperature settings for black, green, oolong, white and herbal tea, as well as choose from either loose or bagged tea when adjusting the settings for your perfect cup.
See photos of each operating step.
Overall, I love the Zarafina. It works great, offers excellent features and makes tea brewing a snap.
